St. Patrick’s Day – Syracuse Residents Invite You to Join in All the Fun
St. Patrick’s Day in Syracuse is more than just a fun-filled party with beer, music, and great food. There are many activities leading up to the St. Patty’s Day Parade that you and your friends will definitely enjoy. Here are just a few of them.
- The Rose of Syracuse competition – Young ladies between 18 and 23 of Irish descent are needed to represent Syracuse. The ideal lass is proud of her heritage and volunteers to make Syracuse a great city. The woman will get to participate in all of the parade festivities.
- 13thAnnual Tipperary Hill Shamrock Run – This is a 4-mile run on March 10 at 10AM. You’re encouraged to bring non-perishable food or some extra funds to donate to the Hunger Project, the co-founder of which (Bill Gooley) was just named one of the Grand Marshall’s of the parade.
